Roll Britannia Live at Bush Hall

Right then. Let’s talk about that night at Bush Hall.

Earlier this year, we took to the stage for our first ever stand-alone live show (not tagged onto a con or expo, mind) and honestly, we had no idea what to expect. But what we got was a raucous, ridiculous, and deeply silly night that we absolutely loved. And apparently, so did you lot.

So here’s a quick peek behind the curtain from me, James – your friendly (well... mostly) Dungeon Master.

First things first...

We owe a massive thank you to AEG Presents for helping us get the whole thing set up in the first place. Roll Britannia Live at Bush Hall wouldn't have happened without their support.

And an equally huge shoutout to our show sponsors, the lovely folks over at Critical Kit – especially Tim, who was there flogging merch like a legend and chatting to the brilliant crowd who turned up. Honestly, he probably deserves a level up just for that.

The Show Itself

Bush Hall’s a gorgeous venue. Looks a bit too posh for a bunch of murder-hobos and their overworked DM, but somehow it worked. From the moment we stepped on stage, it all just clicked.

There were cheers, there was laughter... and there was heckling. Nautical heckling, no less. Imagine trying to run a battle map while someone in the front row's questioning your knowledge of port vs starboard. I mean really.

Then there was the return of the Jeff-Killing Dice. You know the ones. The cursed metal responsible for more unconscious elf than any dragon we’ve faced. And of course, Keth’s endless arsenal was back in full force and bigger than ever. I swear, if he pulled one more weapon out of his trousers I’d have needed a second DM screen just to process the logistics.

It was chaos. Beautiful, joyous, barely-contained chaos.

And we bloody loved it.

What’s Next after Roll Britannia Live at Bush Hall?

Some of you were asking whether the show was filmed. The answer is yes, it was. We’ve got the footage and we’re working on getting it all nice and tidy so we can make it available to buy through our Patreon very soon. So if you missed out, or just want to relive the carnage, keep your eye on our socials or check in at for the latest.

Also worth noting – that live show was just the start. We’re not done with live performances yet. So if you couldn’t make this one, don’t worry. We’ve got more shenanigans planned.

Final Thoughts (And They’re Not All Mushy)

Look, not everything went perfectly. There were missed cues, dodgy dice rolls, and I may have accidentally knocked over part of the set (don’t ask). But none of that mattered, because we were there, together, playing the most ridiculous version of Dungeons and Dragons we know how. And you lot made it something special.

So cheers. Seriously. Thanks for coming, for cheering, for heckling (nicely), and for making our first real show something we’ll never forget.

Until next time, may your dice roll true... unless you're Jeff.
